As described by YIMBY New York’s Michael Young, this unique building features a distinctive eye-catching metallic façade with three-
dimensional geometric aluminum panels surrounds that create a hexagonal glass window illusion to the viewer and pedestrian for what
is otherwise standard rectangular-shaped windows. But nothing about this building is standard. These folded aluminum rain screen
panels weighed as much as 700-lbs each and required special permitted equipment to handle and install them on this 367-Ft tall facade
and exterior. The building’s unique exterior envelope was matched only by it’s complex concrete foundation with a 5-ft 5-inch-inch thick
concrete mat-slab and rock-socketed piles drilled into Manhattan’s bedrock subgrade. With Amenities such as a 1 Floor Outdoor Terrace
